Tourist destinations to consider near Orlando are listed below. Click on any name for complete information.

Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach Population: 22,000
At dawn in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral, the sun glows on the horizon. As the day grows, swimmers and surfers flood the waters and sunbathers stake out on the soft sand.

Daytona Beach Population: 65,000
The need for speed brought Daytona Beach fame and fortune. This boisterous town became the home of NASCAR in 1947, and now nearly 8 million tourists crowd its beaches, sharing the hard-packed sands along the shoreline with cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Kissimmee Population: 57,000
Kissimmee’s is in many ways a bedroom community for tourists coming to see Orlando, but has a number of unique attractions of its own as well.

The Space Coast
The Space Coast is 72 miles of beaches running east of Orlando and southward to Melbourne. A homogenous blend of nature and technology, the region embraces the Kennedy Space Center in Titusville; launch pads, rockets and ocean liners in Cape Canaveral; Patrick Air Force Base in Cocoa Beach; and wildlife preserves, rivers, Intercoastal waterways and pristine shores.
