Port CanaveralPort Canaveral, Florida is a large man-made port along the east central coast of Florida that hosts many cruise ships departing for the Carribean. The area around the port is well developed and features attractions from the Kennedy Space Center to the Merritt National Wildlife Refuge. The port is about a 45 minute drive from the airport. Directions to Northside Cruise Terminals at Port Canaveral: Directions to Southside Cruise Terminals/Port Authority Offices/Jetty Park: If you're coming from Orlando or the east on Highway 528, cross over I-95 and continue 12 miles on Hwy 528 East. Exit right to the "B" cruise terminals. After you exit, turn left under the bridge on to George King Blvd. Drive 1 mile on George King Blvd. Follow signs to correct cruise terminal. Port Parking:Port Canaveral's Cruise Terminals have gated, paved parking with 24-hour surveillance. It costs $10.00 per day to park for vehicles up to 20 feet in length, and $20.00 per day for vehicles over 20 feet. You must pay the full fee for the total time your vehicle will be parked when you enter the parking area. Visa, MasterCard, Traveler's Checks issued in U.S. dollars and cash are accepted. All fees stated above are subject to change without notice by Canaveral Port Authority. Limited free parking is available in "Daytime Only" parking lots at each Cruise Terminal for persons having business at the Terminal or aboard the Cruise Ship only during the hours the ship is docked at the Terminal. No overnight parking is permitted in "Daytime Only" parking lots without permission from Canaveral Port Authority. |
